Stock selection

About 120 blue chip stock prices for the U.S and Eurozone stock markets are continuously screened.
For each sector the selected stocks comprise the most liquid and highly capitalized companies listed on these exchanges.

Simple system

The stocks are ranked based on the following three criteria: The above three criteria are combined for the ranking.
The numerical values indicate relative performance and do not have an upper or lower limit. In general a value larger than 5 indicates above average stock performance.

Update rate

Every three hours, eight times a day, the rankings are automatically updated.

Markets and Sectors

The stocks have been selected from two markets:

Leading U.S. stocks as included in S&P 500.
Blue-chip Eurozone stocks from Stoxx Europe 600.

The stocks have been segregated in six sectors using the main categories from the Industry Classification Benchmark (ICB).

Technical analysis

The applied criteria to rank the stocks are purely technical. Only the relative price change is used.

Performance over the past three weeks is combined with last two weeks' and last week's performance.

The ranking process is fully automated, leaving no room for fear, greed, or any other psychological factor.

Top eight

Only the top eight results for each sector are shown.
Complicated systems breed confusion; simplicity breeds elegance. Keep your technical systems simple.
